How much can Aion enlarge a photo?
Enough to move a small print or a low-resolution scan up to a comfortable frame or photo-book size. It rebuilds plausible detail; it cannot recover detail that was never in the original.
Will an upscaled photo look artificial?
Improve Quality is tuned to keep the character of the original: grain, tone, and softness where softness belongs. It sharpens what is there rather than painting in a synthetic-looking surface.
Does it work on a photo of a photo?
Yes. A photo taken of a print with your iPhone is a common input. A flatter, evenly lit capture gives a better result.
Should I upscale before or after other treatments?
Repair damage and restore faces first, then upscale last so the added resolution carries the clean version.
